Reply With Quotepre 7/92 = ZF tranny (310 Z). post 7/92 = Getrag (250 G). Its all in the Bentley manual. You're lucky if you have the Getrag as fluid may be sold in L bottles. I have a part bottle of Redline collecting dust (310 ZF).

5-speed tranny fluid change
OK guys.. for whatever reason I cannot find what I need here, on BF.com, or BMWE34...
I am going to drain my 5-speed this weekend, how many bottle of fluid do I need to get to replace it. I seam to remember it should be about 1.8 or so.
