Are Hood and Trunk Roundels the same?

I need one for the trunk and find one on ebay advertized only as Hood ,$15.10 shipped. Maybe i could put this on instead , its 3".

Buy the e34 ones that are 80mm and fit both hood & trunk part # 51148132375

and lay off the shooms

Be careful of which ones you get- I replaced my hood emblem on my '95 about 4 years and 30K miles ago, and it's totally shot already (this is in SoCal). I think I got it from BavAuto. Dunno if there are multiple manufacturers out there? FYI.

there are diffent size emblems, the one your looking at doesn't list the size.
