Guess it was worth refinishing my old rims!
Highly doubt the brand will go away, but...

I have seen so many junk aftermarket Chinese made wheels with BBS center caps that I guess people have bought these thinking they were buying real BBS wheels at the expense of the company itself.... not surprised really!

Dual Climate, Rear Headrests, Rollerblind, M-Tech Wheel,
Memory Seats, EAT Chip, T-Stars.
Yes, that hurt them a lot with the copies.
Last year when I was in Germany they showed in TV when about 10.000 copy wheels were crushed to pieces.
The customs office had confiscated them when someone wanted to import them.
i doubt bbs will go bankrupt...if they try i bet somebody would buy them out...
I have heard that BMW changed to O.Z. from BBS as OEM maker, that will also hurt them a lot.
Does that make mine OEM?Originally Posted by shogun

Apparently, they lost a big customer, couldnt pay the bills, and were wished good bye from the banks.

Don't blame the Chinese manufacturer. Blame the cheapo consumers who bought BBS-alike wheels and put BBS caps on them.

I really hope they can pull out of this rut. This is the premier wheel manufacturer, I'd really hate to see them go out like this.Originally Posted by liquidtiger720
