Default Anyone got a V8 motor fan lying around?

Don't need the fan clutch... just the fan. Looks like the old waterpump was a bit TOO sloppy in the bearings, which is why I replaced it... upon removing the fan clutch, I noticed that one of the blades on the fan was missing (which explains the vibration on startup...) and I found it lying in the undertray.

Anybody have a spare fan they'd be willing to sell me for cheap? Anything off any of the V8 or V12's should work... part number is 11521712110, and realoem lists that as good for e38 740/750's, e31 840/850's, e34 530/540's, and e39 540/M5.

By the way... having a missing blade makes that "V8 shudder" a WHOLE lot worse.

Not only that... that destroys the water pump instantly.

That could explain why it was wobbling so badly... now, was it the chicken or the egg?? Did the bad bearing cause it to hit something? Or did it hit something, and cause the bad bearing??

The correct answer? Who cares! Swapped in a new pump, and left the fan in the trunk for now (sitting upright, of course!). Been driving around without a fan and haven't seen it go above center... but I should get a new one mounted before we get into SoCal summers!
