Can you 5 series drivers help me with steering problem

I was hoping you 5 series drivers might help me with a steering problem Im having with my 98 E36.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

Since it's intermittent and goes away when warm, I suspect the relief valve in the pump is sticking. You can tee a gage (2000 psi?) in pump discharge line to check or install a used pump. I've experienced this in my '83 533i w/o R&P steering in cold weather but it only lasted a second or two after starting.
