Shogun, do you get paid advertising royalties for hits to bimmerboard.com?
erased due to slander
No sir, but that was the easiest to copy and paste from there.
I often do the same with links from here which I post there.
I also do not get paid from this board.
And this was just to point to an interesting post how to solve a problem.
I think Martin meant to say you should get paid. You have helped many of us know more about our cars and how to approach fixing them. I know I appreciate reading your threads! I am about to buy an o2 sensor because after 50k its reccommended and I need better fuel economy. Whats more important 50k or eighteen years? hahahah..........Seriously should I buy OEM or cheaper aftermarket......1989 535IA
No. I was questioning his routine linking to bimmerboard forum. Wow, check the o2 sensor if mileage is crap; great insight. It seems Shogun wants this board to migrate over to bimmerboard. I question that.Originally Posted by dennyg

Here are some prices,
Autohaus, Bosch 104 $

Walker, Denso, Bosch and universal ones

But I would not buy one universal which would have to be soldered. That part stays there for some years and there is a lot of dirt, water, maybe oil etc. So better you buy one with a plug which fits and is properly sealed.
I bought some when Autohaus had them on offer for the 750 for around 65 $ a piece, that was Bosch.
The same one costs now $ 71, also Bosch.

The main difference is usually the length of the wire loom, the plug is definitely the same for the E32 and E34.
BTW: BigKriss sent me one of these exhaust sensors from Australia for online monitoring, they are also available in USA

I like the format here much better. You can read everything without clicking on each post.
