    Default sharp grinding when turning

A few months ago my car was making a strange sound when making hard right turns, so I had my guy at the garage check it out. He said that the 1 pitman arm in the front was loose, so he tightened it up, everything was fine.

Fast forward to today I was making a hard right hand and hard a horrible grinding sound. Now whenever I turn right it makes the same grinding sound. My question is, does that sound like the pitman arm to you guys? How hard is it to tighten?

you didnt specify where the noise was coming from. these cars only have 1 pitman arm and its attatched to the steering box. are u sure u dont need a power steering fluid top off? it can also be a wheel bearing that needs replacing.

pitman arm is attached to the steering box, idler arm connects the other side. Going to get it in the air and inspect, preferable while someone else turns the steering so you can isolate the sounds.
