Default OT: Polar Plunge for NROTC

I'm participating in the Polar Plunge with NROTC here in Norfolk, Virginia. This is a fundraising event held every year for the Special Olympics. We go out to Virginia Beach and run into the cold surf on the morning of February 3. We each have to raise $100+ dollars just to participate.

I need some help raising the money. If you would like to make a donation please PM me and I can send you my Paypal address or a mailing address. Thank you very much for your help!

Yup all money will be going to the special olympics!

Glad it's not going to be as cold as those pics, geez. Water temperature will be around 50 and there's no telling what the air temperature will be. Gonna be fun!

Well, fresh water can't get any colder than 0 celcius ~33 F, which was the temp circulating around my balls at the time. Copious amounts of vodka certainly helped during the 10 trips we made into the 'water' that new years.

Yup, did the polar bear plunge into Lake Michigan last January 1st... it was cold enough, just happy there wasn't snow on the ground at the time!
