I have personal knowledge of an incident at JL where the "TECHNICIAN" left a long box wrench dangling from the oil drain plug on a near new VW with the "V" 6. the wrench caught when the car was driven out of the bay and broke the cast alum sump to pieces.
They then wanted to repair it themselves. Only after a lot of kicking and screaming did they finally pony up for proper repair at a dealer and then had the nerve to expect to be paid for the oil change.
Anyone who patronizes these hackers, especially with a car more complicated than Fred Flintstone's, is asking for it. These guys are Earl Scheib with a wrench.
