HID Low Beam Failure Fix

HIDs operate on 35W whereas halogens operate on 55W. In some vehicles, the difference in current will trigger a "low beam failure indicator." "this product will get hot" LOL... it is just a resistor in there. What a joke! When you have older HID ballast, it will show low beam error, but the newer one should not show those error as they internally have been wired to show continuity. Older ballast will not show continuity and this tells the computer bulb is broken.

my fix is to wire in a small bulb, like halfway sized between an 1157 and a dome light, directly parallel to each low beam bulb. no relays to mess with, and its cheap as ****!

Very cool. I'm sure it could be made cheaper, but for guys that don't have the time/knowledge to put it together, this is a terrific product. Price is suprisingly low I have to admit.

Guys I have 6 of these resistors they are often used for using low impedance injectors on a high impedance setup - they are roughly $5 ea
