ready to replace the A clutch pack in my 4hp22 and bought just the plates and the replacement seals (superior # k002)cost for all was $55.00.In the directions with the seals it says replace 1 teflon seal not 2.replace seal on the rear of the shaft.Kit comes with 3 seals to do 3 transmissions.If you could check out http://www.superior-transmission.com.../k002_cnts.htm .Has anbody tried theese seals?

according to the manufacturer just 1.I talked to tech service and they said just the rear.I'm going listen to the guy who's done them and use 2.But even on the package its said for 3 trannys.
they sell to distrbution co. not to the public.I get my kits from transtar which has 35 locations in the U.S. They sell ind. clutch plates (brand name)and superior products(problem solvers)no need to buy a $200 kit for just the A clucth pack
