I've done this a few times to the UK and never had a problem.Not sure how it will work with you,but in the UK I get hit for the VAT ( value added tax @17.5% )and then import tax @10% and them a 'customs fee' for collecting the tax due.

Autohaus delivers to any place, as long as you pay by credit card or another acceptable payment method.
I usually ask for shipment by USPS, that takes some days longer than FedEx, but is much cheaper. You can see prices here
