Heat Problems
In the last week or so I have been experiencing some problems with my heat. Sometimes it blows hot air and other times a mixture of hot and cold (hot on the dirver side, cold on the passenger side). Today the car was parked all day outside (~ 8 hours). I started the engine and set the temperature to 32C with the blower at full blast to melt the ice on the windshield, but it was blowing cold air for at least 20 minutes even while I was driving . Then all a sudden it started to blow a mixture of really hot and cold air. The engine temperature was normal. The blowers are functioning properly. This is a 740i 2000. Any ideas what might be the problem? Thanks.
