    Default dashboard computer fault display

    Hello all
I need some help with my 540 touring. My dashboard display is constantly showing a 'brake light' fault despite the lights working fine. Also when I switch on the headlights it shows faults for dipped beam, tail light. Also the ABS light and traction control light are constantly on . Any advice please ?

    thanks

    Merry Christmas !!

Have you checked the lights in the trunk? There is a break light on top of the trunk. I also believe the trunk lights are tied to the same circuit and could give that fault.

    Default It's probably

    the brake light switch

as they wear carbon builds up on the switch and creates resistance and trip s the CCM.

You can try and clean it, they come apart easily.
