Default What color neon is everyone running?

I've got a black 535im lowered with style 32's all around. I've done almost every mod within reason but still don't have the neon thing going on.

I'm thinking either green or purple neon although lately I think that black light neon might be really bitchin. Only thing is, with the black light neon will that show up all the spunk and spit and other bodily fluids on the turf....or not?

Anxiously awaiting your advise on this pressing issue.

Default Mike, I think you should go with the black light , that way when you're

drinking your big gulp and driving that long stretch between San Diego and Yuma at night, and you have to stop to take a leak, the scorpions will glow under the blacklight so you can see them....

Yeah, good idea, plus if your piss starts glowing in the dark, you'll know you've had too many rads and its time to back away from the reactor.

Black light it is. Maybe I should get another unit for under the dash. Make me look like a ghoul driving at night!

please do not do this to your E34. Buy a Civic and put them on that.

Default why would you want "the neon thing going on"?

I have seen neon kits for under the wheel wells and in the interior and other points on a car. All I can think of is why? Must be a cultural thing. Perhaps a "youth" thing. As for myself, I am not looking for flash or to attract undue attention. I would rather my car be a bit understated.

    Each to their own.

I agree with Russell. Going for the understated power / elegance.

Unless you're building a track car, an E34 doesn't need any dancing baloney... it just needs to be an E34!

(by the way - love the idea about lighting up scorpions on the desert floor... great thinking!)
