    Default OT: supplemental income

Hey guys, I just thought I'd run this your way and get some ideas. I need to find an apartment soon, and with my current job I can't afford to support myself and don't have time/ don't want a second job, so I was thinking of making something or doing something on the side to help make some extra cash. I'd like to just make a product in my garage that people use, like, and will pay decent money for, something i can do on weekends and evenings after work. I have a friend who makes snakeskin guitar straps, I'd like to do that, but I just can't afford all the equipment to start up.

    Any other suggestions?

I work in a detail shop... and I've been doing a good bit of work on the side lately. I can make an extra ~300/week easily during the summer, more than that if I had the time but I'm in school.

You can make "How to make your own business" tapes and sell them on TV at like 4AM.

Buy salvaged cars, (popular models) as scrap, non-runners etc and sell the parts on ebay & local ad mags.
