95 540i Transmission direct swap with 95 530i?
I may very well be picking up a 95 540i tranny, part number A5S560Z, which is different from the 95 530i part number A5S310Z. Can these be directly swapped? What would be needed to put the 540 tranny into my 530?
Both are automatic.

the 540 tranny holds higher torque, has different gearing, and was upgraded in the 3-4 clutch engagement to make it much smoother.
