right next to the oil dip stick there is that little filter. Where does that line normally lead?

from the pics and location it looks like it goes directly into the cylinder head. do you mean, where it goes on the other end?
the blue one is the one with the filter (i think)
the red and green ones are the ones from milkboot's original post (still think)

The red one goes to the filter in the original pic. That normally goes to a port in the intake boot to provide crankcase vacuum/ventilation. The blue one is for the throttle body water jacket.
BTW, in the picture with the coloured hoses, the serpentine belt is mis-routed. It should go under the upper idler, not over the top.
