whats your guy's resource for transmissions? i love the e34 chassis and i want to get one, the one im looking at is a 540 but the tranny is gone. but its a good deal. I just want to look at getting a transmission for it before i buy it.

welcome there matey! yes there was stick version and it depends on where u live as to the availability of them. need to know what country youre from to provide the relevant advice as the vehicle s configurations are differant fron country to country. if its cheap enough get the tranny rebuilt!

or if its cheaper just buy kals. never met the bloke by the way but have spoken here heaps so trusted member etc etc. not often a chance to get a second hand tranny with history!

trans is an expensive deal, the fluid alone as its special costs like 18 bux a quart. Kal has one in the classifieds section if you want one.
