Thread: No "error" messages anymore, but OBC won't scroll on cluster readout?

Default No "error" messages anymore, but OBC won't scroll on cluster readout?

On my 1990 535i, I can click the turn signal indicator in towards the steering column, and it will cycle thru OBC functions on the dash cluster readout. On my 1995 540i, I finally cleared the last error message... but it still won't cycle thru. I can feel the switch clicking, but... nothing on the dash.

    Any ideas?

    Try resetting it?

The procedure is stated somewhere in the manual. Where you can set what shows up when you press the stalk in. I don't remember the procedure off the top of my head.

In the owners handbook? I'll have to check that out... reading material for my lunch break, I guess!
