    Default Which E34

Hello all, I have had a couple of E34's and its time for another. Should I get a 1993 535i (manual trans) or a 1995 525i (manual trans). I believe the 525i may be less maintenance and with a chip could be powerful. Or, the old standby M30 motor. I just do not know what to do. Please help. Rick

Thank you for the link, but it really does not answer my question.

Which car would be more fun, with less maintenance?

Thank you, that was a perfect forum. It seams, either way I cannot go wrong. It is just a matter of what I find first. Thank you all. Rick.

I was going to buy it, but it was too far away and I thought the price was too much for a 200,000 mile car

Plus I only want a black interior, with a gray exterior.

It is looking like a 1995 525i (love the wide grill). Clean 535i's are hard to find, especially with a manual trans.
