i saw one of those cars a couple years ago and the side of the car was so worn away you could see the window regulators, it's part of some driver training coarse on how to stop without brakes
all america wants is cold beer warm cat and a place to take a poop with a door on it
THAT will buff right outWhat a sickening sound though... scraping :|
yea and they do it with a brand ****ing new car, all of the ones i've seen a fairly high model too not some shitty low end turd, i always wondered if they were straight off the line or if they were defective and unsellable or test mule's

Maybe it is one that has seen some corrosion testing... but I don't know why they would have nice rims on a car they are grinding into the wall. There was a guy in a DANA jacket- so its definately an industry thing.Originally Posted by winfred

They used to have BMW Driver's ed things at Nurburgring (still do for all I know...)- one of the local BMW CCA members went about 15+ years ago and brought back some video- they were running brand new E34's (I think) into the guardrail in the "no brakes" exercise. The sound was brutal.
Bret.
EDIT:
just watched the video- definitely looks like Nurburgring (the tower on the hill in the town of Nurburg, the track, etc).
