Glove box just fell out.lol

I recently purchased a 94 525i and I went to open the glove box and the entire lid just fell out and was hanging by the cords. Any idea how to fix this thing?

There are two clips that hold the glove box to a bar behind the glove box itself. Just get a flash light and push it back in and push the clips up so it'll stay in place. I'm sure Q or someone has some pics because I do not.

I found a little black plastic clip on the floor right after that happened. How many clips does it take? Do they brake when they come off or do they just need re snapped on?

2, on the back left and right...

sometimes you can re-clamp them and they work, other times they simply wear out and you need new ones, yours are probably worn.

If it just fell out then probably you need new clips. Mine did that but they were fine. I guess it just depends on how much you use your glove box.

I thought they were for kids. You know, the ones that you make sit up front when they will not hold still and behave. You just stuff them in there and shut it. hmmm, maybe thats what happened to my glove box............
