    Default small fan in dash

    Did a search couldnt find anything. Replaced bulb for temp control area and now small sensor fan behind temp setting dials is running all the time.Has anyone seen this before?Thanks.

    Sounds like a sampler motor for the temperature settings. Blows air at a sensor to keep the heat/ac at right temperature.

    I hope you cleaned the fan and the temp sensor. I have seen some completely covered with dust.
    Just recently I helped someone out, he could never set the temp right, mainly cold or hot.
    It was not a stuck heater valve etc., just a dirty sensor.

    Always wondered why I seemed to get dust on the Climate control panel but nowhere else... Everytime I reckon I know all there is to know ...BANG... along comes something new... microfans... Sheesh!

    Could I find how to clean this in my bentley manual? On mine it seems like there is no "medium" temperature, just arctic or furnace .

    No need for a Bentley for this, just remove it and it sits on the back,
