shows up as a manual trans,M20 engined,525i,US model produced June 1989
Hey guys,
New to the board. Been looking for the right E30 for awhile now, but always had a soft spot for an E34. Came across a very attractive listing for a '90 Black/Black E34 with 100k on the clock. One good thing about it is that it has maintenance records back to 1995. I plan on having it fully inspected (either a dealer or a good indie shop), but what are some major things to look at for an E34 with this mileage?
Also, if anyone has the ability to run the VIN for potential issues, please let me know what you discover. WBAHC1305LBC90045
Here's the listing:
1990 E34
Thanks!

Oh man how pretty. Hope you enjoy the m20
I just noticed this, that's an awful lot for an 89 m20. It must be VERY nice inside

Eh its really slow. Make sure you're ok with the engine before you buy it.
Any issues on the VIN check? Good title, no accidents, etc? I'm surprised that it's actually an '89 too!
Great detective work guys!
Cheers!

Too much money for an 89 M20.
A little more patience will get you an M30.
dont confuse the production date with model year or date of first registratio

I've got an 89 M20. Too slow, why even bother getting a manual, you won't go anywhere lol.Originally Posted by spyrot1
Just a thought from an envious owner saving for a 3.5 6cyl. Soon enough you'll see it appear in all it's glory.
