it may be imperial.do u have access to imperial wrenches/sockets?? whats unusual looking about it?
I am replacing the starter for 1995 525, and I am having hard time in doing it.
I has to 10ml bolts, and I am trying to removed with a 10ml wrench, but it is not working. Do I need special tools for those unsual looking bolts from BMW. Because regual mm tools are not working.
Please I need an advice.

you need a torx socket, but i can't remember what size it is
e12 on the starter
all america wants is cold beer warm cat and a place to take a poop with a door on it
E12 inverted torx with lots of extension and probably a good impact gun or breaker bar to do the trick.
