Jr you would be surprized what the printing industry can do, higher quality is better but in the final prints it usually wont be noticed. A full color calander can be made with only 600 dpi, amazing actually. Print process has to deal with *dot gain and loss* and manipulate it from there. I have made full color business cards that turned out great from some rather crappy files.
