Sound from only right side?

I usually get sound from all of my speakers, but last week the left side cut out completely. Everything else seemed normal. Then the sound came back for a few days, but now the left side is gone again, and hasn't come on for a while...

What could this be?

verify the connections behind the deck. the deck has a single channel output for the front left and rear, so a total of 2. The amp has 5 channels for the left side so its unlikely those all went out at the same time.

But its still possible the deck outputs went bad or the amps inputs went bad as well.

Somebody is screwing with you. They're sneaking in and changing the faders

clean volume control. Turn radio off. Remove knob, spray tuner cleaner on shaft work and full left to right several times. Spray agian and do it again. Sound should be out of both sides again. Even so, you may need to do it again at a later date. Mine did the same thing.
