Is that a Commodore or a Monaro?
Atlanta, GA/Bloomington, IN, USA
That's a VZ Commodore Ute (pickup in the States)
Monaros were only made as 2-door coupes.
The ute is a standard form of Commodore, always has been since the 2nd generation Commodore went on sale in Australia. It is based on the European Opel Rekord/Senator platform, the GM's Aussie HQ have adapted this as their standard platform which with the re-vival of the 2-door unit 'Monaro' has been exported to the USA. Now the Utes or 'pickups' are being exported also I guess. Standard engines oin the Commodore are the 3.6L Bucik V6s and the biggest are the 5.7L small block Chev, all the tooling for these engines comes form the US.Originally Posted by Yiorgos
