    i have no idea where oak brook is, but i live in alton, illinois (zip 62002) which is next to St. louis missouri. i have a buddy that owns an independant bmw repair shop about 10min from me.

    Any good auto import shops, I suppose. I have an independent/private mechanic who looks at my car-- he's completely sunken into the world of the 5-series BMW .

    Ben Thongsai, over in Broadview (17th Ave and Madison). Guy knows his BMWs, has built many of the local racecars, and is a very honest guy. (708) 450-0300 Just don't be discouraged by the appearance of his junk yard, I mean shop...;-)
