Was there a factory keyless system for pre 92 e34's ?
I notice that all the BMW alarms that are for sale in ebay refer to 92 an newer e34's with wiring under the back seat. What did BMW offer 89-91 ? I have been debating on putting a system in my 90 ans was curious what was there.

Am I correct in that the wiring interface is in the driver's kick panel and not under the seat ? Is there a plug? bare wires ?

drivers kick panel on a e32, under the rear seat by the battery on e34 (or where the battery should be on 89-91) it's about a dozen wire black plug. not sure where they hide it on a wagon
