Error Codes / Stomp TEst 540i 1994

Does anyone have any experience in coaxing the error codes out of a 540i using the stomp test?

My check engine light has been flickering so I haven't been able to drive my "new" E34.

Any ideas?

Well you do know the stomp test is using the GAS pedal right?

Once you turn your key to possition II, you have to very quickly hit the gas paddle down to click the kick-down botton 5 times. It should work.

within 5 seconds so the peddle will have to be pressed quick! I usually dont let the peddle come all the way back so its easier
