    Default Autoleads SAK-1208 Speaker Adapters

    Hi Everyone,

Has anyone ever fitted these in their parcel shelf?

    http://www.raysmith.co.uk/Fitting-So.../BMW/SAK-1202/

I bought (from Bluespot) the SAK-1202 which looks like the part I need to replace in the speaker cavity. But, in the post I got SAK-1208 instead and when I quizzed them, they said that Autoleads had deleted the SAK-1202 and replaced with the SAK-1208 ("We can't be held responsible for Autoleads actions" - no, but they can tell me I'm not getting the part I ordered though). It looks completely different and wondered how the hell it fits in there and if anyone else had them already, any pictures or anything would be great.

    Cheers

I figured it out. Duh! In case anyone else gets these and wonders what the hell they do with them (I realise that this might only have been me!), theu clip on the underside of the BMW speaker grilles then you screw the speakers to the unerside of the assembly. Dont for get to remove all trace of the original speaker housing including the plastic dish which is held in by three screws. I put some Infinity's in there and they sound sweet with the Focals up front.
