Speaker Depth Question

Anyone know what the maximum speaker depth is for the Front Kickpanel and the Rear Deck??

I tried to install some 6.5 comp kicker components in the rear deck and they would not fit with out cutting the metal. Someone here said they fit without diong that but I could not see how. I would think that 5.25 would be the biggest you could do without any major mods. But thats just my .02.

Thanks for the info...The reason that i need to know the depth is because Focal makes some awesome 5.25 componets but They are pretty deep (3 inches) .i would like to know before i buy them if they are going to fit for Depth...

You could always just pop out the current speakers and stick a tape measure down in there to get an idea.

I'm sticking w/ the stock cabin speakers for now, but putting subs in the trunk.
