another thing that makes that filter look small is that huge ass turbo, ya shoulda gotten a bhaf as it's known to diesel guys ( big honken air filter ) it's a little smaller then a 5 gallon bucket
all america wants is cold beer warm cat and a place to take a poop with a door on it

Haha yep - seen some obsenely large filters on my friends diesel trucks. You and I both know I can't fit much in there hehe. The huge H1E does dwarf the air filter.

Dude, come on. We've all enterred threads with opinions, even you. I'm not trying to call you out and be an ******* or anything, so please, don't get me wrong. You can't seriously think you can make a thread and not have people express their opinions. Educated or not, that's the point. You post, people reply, you clarify. To those of us that don't know ****, and don't even know where to begin researching intercooler size, we're going to say that it looks small. Before I knew a little bit about FI I just figured that a big ass intercooler worked cause it had a ton of surface area, thus more cooling capacity......

What's the largest intercooler you can fit in there with the stock bumper bar? It looks like there's more room on the right hand side of the car, possibly on the left side also.
I wasn't trying to sound like a dick, I was thinking you'd get a larger air filter that's all.

My intake air temps are ambient temperature + 10 - 15 degrees. That is PERFECTLY IDEAL and much more efficient than 99% of turbo M3s even with their larger IC's due to my compressor size.
