Looks good from what I can tell. Tape, paint , or OE BMW?

They are the original chrome ones removed and painted with flat black trim paint. It was alot of fun I think I might do it on the inner trim pieces around the windows too

How did you remove the pieces? I painted the rear piece by the back windows, but I used tape on the rest. I want to paint them all, looks alot better than the tape.
I have a little plastic "bone" I got from VW Training looks like a double edged flat screwdriver. I stuck this under the spot where the clip is on the drip molding, then used a screwdriver to pry against it so I wouldn't damage the paint in the door jam. All the clips will break and those little buggers were $1.00 a piece at the local $tealer.. Followed the instructions here:
