Default Alpina 'Lower' Cluster for regular E34??

I started looking at Alpina pictures for E32s & E34s after seeing a link in one of shogun's posts.

I LOVE this sub/lower dash that is on the Alpina E32s, with Oil temp, Oil pressure, Voltmeter, and gear temp.

(1)Is this sub dash a separate piece that could be installed with my current dash cluster?

I would love to use something like that to monitor my oil temp, oil pressure, volts, and maybe even final drive temp.

I wouldn't want one that has all the turbo readings on it, so the E32 one looks perfect.

(2)How impossible would it be to find one of these units?

I dont think that would work on e34's without modification to the dash. The factory gauge cluster it a pretty tite fit already.

I believe Alpina B10s (E34 shape) had a similar addition to the dash. There was one selling on eBay (Australian one) for AU$1800, so they are quite expensive given what they are and what they do. As for installation, I would imagine it would be hell to do it.

I like that steering wheel, but I would want just a BMW logo on the horn since my car isn't Alpina

well I'm gonna keep it on the back burner.
