Default ebay bargain, spoiler - be gone!

    howdy peeps,

i've always preferred the e34 without look withought a spoiler

mine had had one fitted before i bought her which looked ok but unfortunately the years had taken their toll on the paintwork and it was looking very poor not to mention the fact that some kids football had landed on it from about 3 miles high and chopped a clean 6 inch break in the spoiler which was patched together with tape!!

    anyway

£15 from a guy on ebay, breaking an e34 of the same colour (nearly) and this is how she looks

the new lid was from quite a newer 34 so you can tell it's a different one but it just means i really need to give the whole motor a damn good polish and wax

    i'm quite pleased

lol, ur right they do look a bit like a volvo's

weird thing is, i only decided the spoiler had to go after changing to the clear rears! looks so much 'cleaner' now

i was thinking of doing the exact same thing... not sure if I really like the spoiler on my car as much as I would like it without or even a small lip spoiler.

    how easy was the swap?

Awww a little lip is a wonderful thing! I won't post the image to clutter your post: http://www.bimmer.info/forum/showthr...highlight=arse

Anyway, how long did it take you to do the wiring loom?

the swap is v easy to do, i just had to spend a little time before hand freeing up the wiring and swapping the lock over to the replacement lid

lip spoiler sounds interesting, might look into one of those
