    Default Part number: 82 11 9 418 403?

    Hey guys,

Does anyone know what part has this number: 82 11 9 418 403? It's under the back seat tucked under the lip next to the 2nd fuse box. Whatever it is, on mine, someone's done some dodgy wiring to it and from it. I'm thinking it's an amp? I've got an aftermarket stereo in there (which I didn't put in) and there's only 2 speakers in the footwell and the ones in the parcel shelf in the back. Christ knows why someone would want to mess with the amp if thats what it is?

    Cheers

That's brilliant thank you. There's a Cobra alarm thats been fitted, so I'm assuming that now I know it's a security system, the cobra alarm is powered and from the loom that goes to the factory fitted alarm.

As for the amp, I don't think I have one, so I'm now safe to upgrade the factory speakers with something better.

This website is brilliant, thank you for your time and effort guys.

I got it from the unit itself, was printed on the side - proper BMW part, just didn't have a clue what it was
