hi all
gonna source some shadowline tape, as soon as i can find a place local in the uk to get some
in the meantime thought i'd do a trial run with insulation tape - please don't laugh, i'm gonna leave it on and see how long it lasts!?

Looks good, Think I'll try it myself. (Nice wheels too)
**laughs**
Thats exactly what I've done on mine -looks tons better matey, even if it is onnly tape![]()
Only trouble i've found is the tape shrinks slightly, with the heat of the sun etc..
only really did it to see what kinda difference it makes, lovin it!
i know the tape wont last long but who cares it'll do for me for now!

Exactly - Plan on painting mine eventually - just haven't got around to removing them all yet..
Definately gonna be doing it to my new car too - just bought a royalblau 535i to add to the collection![]()
Looks good, but won't it be a sticky mess to remove?
From my experience - not really... any stickiness can be easily remoevd with a baby-wipe or when you wash the car..
yeah might get a little messy if i have to remove it but guess i'll just do it again!!

If you use GOOD quality tape (eg 3M), then it will last until something nicks it. On the other hand, if you use crappy tape like from a discount (dollar?) store, it will most likely leave a gooey mess after baking in the sun for a while.
