I have heard of people running 275s on 18x9.5 M5 rears...you could end up with a mess of understeer depending how you set it up though...also unsure of whether suspension geometry would cause a 520 to rub but an M5 to clear...
I know that there is no sensible reason to fit wider tyres on rear than 255 but because I have some mistery plans about my 520 I want to ask how maximum wide tyres (on how wide and with what ET wheels) can be fitted on rear in E34? The most interesting wheel diameter for me is 18'.
Cheers,
Jan

i've seen 285 on rear tires before. they're on BigTed's car, which was formerly Mihai77's car. he hasn't been around, but uh yeah. on 18" wheels.

I know, but for fun I have another car. I want to convert my 520 for the motorway driving. So some understeer is not a problem. Also I can go wider on front too.Originally Posted by VentoGT
