Default OT Crash!!! Buddys Honda bites the dust

I was about to enjoy my Friday evening when I get a phone call from a friend.
Evidently he was cruising along and a truck full of scrap steel makes a left turn right in to oncoming traffic.

Bam! The Honda “T” bones the truck …both air bags deploy.

    No injuries.

Interesting thing about the Honda… the SRS light has been on for over a year. I guess the system will still work with the light on… unlike the BMW.

Thought I would share the picture with you good folks.

The "thing" in front of the dead Honda is (used to be) an air conditioner. It fell out of the truck as the Honda slamed into the side. The truck can be seen in the background. The front bumper to the Honda is behind the officer.

Hopefully the "day after" pain wont be too bad.

Sheesh, that's quite a crunch! That's what Honda's do though. I watched a nurse in a new Civic back into a concrete planter box at 3mph or so. The rear bumper was hanging off, and there was damage to the fender above it. A costly repair in that car, which would be a quick touch up paint job in our cars. Evidently that Accord got in a much worse scenario

    Hope your friend is okay.
