Engine Cranks, Won't Start, Trans Program

I reseached the archives and it seems like I new Trans Program Symptom.
Bently troubleshooting said to replace the Transmission Range Switch.
Is this the same switch as the gear selector switch? if not does anybody know where the range switch is?

Cleaned the range switch, that wasn't it. Replaced the DME main relay, and the trans program error went away. The engine runs fine now. Transmission has always shifted like new (I use Redline Synthetic oil at every 50K mile intervals). 160K miles and still going strong.
