Nobody has any ideas? I dont wanna make my old man spend any more damn money on his car
Alright, well the stock stereo worked totally fine a few months back. After sitting in the garage for WAY too long, battery went dead. Recharged, now the stereo is not playing correctly.
If you put the volume at maximum, you can hear the music, it just sounds like its at the lowest possible setting thats still audible. I checked the amplifier in the trunk, couldn't find any fuses on it...
You guys have any ideas?

there is an electrical box under the rear seat that contains fuses & relays...and (I think) fuse #41 controls the radio & CD player (in conjuction with fuse #18 in the front fuse box). You may have blown #41 when you "recharged" the battery.
Check under the rear seat on the drivers side. There should be a fuse index under the cover (just like there's one under the cover on the front fuse box)...and #41 should be in either block 1, 7, or 8.

I would think you will need to re-enter your radio security code.

If the stereo is operational at all then it has already been unlocked via the code.Originally Posted by pundit
I would check the fuse on the amp and under the seat.
