I Need Everyones Help On This One..........

okay...so my dad tells me that he wants to invest in a e46 m3 and wanted me to check some things out for him...I know this isn’t the right page for it but you guys have been very helpful and knowledgeable in the past and that is why I come back to you now...

couple questions that he wanted me to find out for him on the 2001 e46 m3...

- are there any recalls on that car

- are there any defects on that year that the warranty does not cover and he has to look out for

- how is the maintenance

- how’s the reliability on that car

- what are the things that tend to go wrong with that car

- are there anything that he needs to look out for when purchasing one

- AND ANY OTHER INFO WILL BE GREAT...

I have read a lot on the web but they all refer to the track handling and power...nothing about buying used...

oh if anyone has one please let me know about the feedbacks

well, i don't know much, but here's one thing.

a good ///M, that's been taken care of, should have his oil changed every 3000-3500miles. it's almost as twice as more often than on normal cars. so check for regular services.
