    Default Installing keyless entry

Tomorrow im going to install a new keyless entry in my bmw 520i executive from 1995, the original bmw alarm doesnt work anymore.
I want to install the new alarm on the wires of the central door locking unit, there is a blue and white wire going in the unit that get a 12v pulse when you open and close the lock, can I connect the open and close pulses from the remote control unit to these wires?

    Tnxs!
