It's time to change the brake pads and I was curious to know what other project can or should be completed while replacing hte break pads?

Its so easy to get at them that its not really a big advantage to to something else at the same time. Check to make sure everything is in working order. Check for leaks. Make sure the metal clips are on the outside of the calipers where they should be. It might also be a good time to inspect the balljoints and their respective boots as well as checking for play in the suspension components themselves.
