    Default Brake cyllinder rebuild

After having new front disks and pads fitted due to wear and a small warp, found the new disks warped within 2 months (i do about 4,000km/month)
the mechanic who fitted the disks machined them (1.5 thou apparently) and off i went again (no charge). 1 month later warped again.
The culprit, worn seals in the calipers not releasing properly, causing rubbing and overheating of the disks.
The mechannic is recommending a seal kit for the calipers, 2-3 weeks x-europe. he is also going to replace the disks and pads as a warranty issue at his cost to fit.

--> is a seal kit / rebuild the best/most cost effective option. would aftermarket upgrades be available at a reasonable cost?

--> does anyone else get this kind of service from a BMW factory trained local shop mechanic at reasonable price. is there anyone in melbourne (around Coburg) who is looking for a mechanic that they can trust.

NO way to do any upgrade here. You already have the big stuff on the e34. Next step is 750 4-pots or M5 brakes. Big money.

    I was about to get the same parts from www.bmaparts.com (in USD);

34111157037 Repair Kit- front caliper piston - $11.52
34211158578 Repair Kit- rear caliper piston -$11.50 each
34111157038 Repair Kit- guide bush caliper-$7.95 each
81229407103 Tube ATE piston lube or equivalent- $2.00
    ie the 5.5ml packet

Rear brake lines (there are 4 pieces, 2 per side)
    34 32 1 159 878 x 2 $8.78 each
    34 32 1 159 881 x 2 $9.98 each

    Brake disc retaining bolts 2*Front 34 21 1 161 806 $1.10 ea*
    2*Rear 34 11 1 123 072 $1.10 ea*

    One pair e-brake shoes *34 41 1 159 468 $24 set*

    6x SPRING PAD-FRONT UPPER (3mm) *31 33 1 128 523* *$3.00 ea
    2x SPRING PAD-FRONT LOWER *31 33 1 124 322* *$3.00 ea

    Master cylinder reservoir cap seal *34 32 1 157 396 $2.80
    $2.80

    USPS Airmail'd be about $20.
