    Default Parking Brake

My parking brake is going a bit loose. I really have to raise it up. Does tightening the bolts at the lever in the cabin enough ? Or is it a lot more complicated than that. I checked the procedure on the E34 site, but it seems awful complicated and made for a complete adjustement, which I don't figure is what I need.

Ah well, maybe I just like it to be too easy.

Pull the rear rotors off and inspect the shoes and if okay then adjust back there.

Yeah, what Jeff said. Adjusting the cables under the handle cover doesn't allow the proper mechanical advantage. That can only come from adjusting at the drums themselves.
