Good buy - make a point of flushing it well on the off chance that the donor car puked bits 'o metal into the oil....also gets the odd bug and random dirt out.
Found this little beauty last week. External oil cooler, came from a 745 turbo so I'm not too sure where I'll bolt it up, but I think there's room under the existing radiator. Dunno if it's the same as the e32 735i part but it's a BMW piece so it should look pretty good.

And then look what you got!

Robin, buddy. That doesn't mount up to the e34 radiator at all. That is shorter and wider than the elegant e34 oil cooler, much like a wife vs, uh oh. That one also uses the b34 mounts to the oil cannister, which actually might dodge the b35 oil leakdown issue.

Aww it looks exactly like the one that broke on my e28.
It was close to 30 after shipping... I guess I know who the other bidder wasOriginally Posted by JoeS

I figured if I could get it cheap I could make it work. I've never come across a used one before after some mild looking so for $19.50 and change this will be fun. I think maybe I'll mount it like the old VW's, on the roof with a big scoop.
Martin - perhaps you could post a few pics of your wife for us to see? Or maybe the second cousin from the Magnum PI intro (!)![]()
